Full Time Positions:

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager works with the Director of Facilities to oversee daily arena operations, including event setups, housekeeping, grounds work, equipment safety, capital projects, and budgets. This role manages gameday and event operations at Tsongas Center, supervising event equipment procurement, set-up/strike and housekeeping. The Operations Manager hires, trains, and schedules part-time staff, while ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations and high-quality service.

Audio-Visual Manager

The Audio Visual Manager position reports directly to the General Manager and will partner heavily with internal/external partners and department heads for the audio/visual and technical needs for the arena and attached spaces. This position will be responsible for A/V schedule coordination and planning in conjunction with the venue’s event and maintenance schedules.

Event Staff

The Event Staff position is responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons and employees and filling multiple staffing posts that may vary from event to event. Event Staff are the first and last impression and front facing role to the guests for the venue, university, and clients. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena.

Grounds Crew Member

As a Baseball Grounds Crew Member, you will be an integral part of maintaining and preparing the field for games and events. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that the playing surface is in optimal condition, managing field equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Groundskeeper

Oak View Group is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Groundskeeper to manage field and ground operations at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, MA, home to UMass Lowell Baseball and the Futures League. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining a safe, high-performance playing surface and ensuring the entire field environment including bullpens, dugouts, nets, and surrounding grounds is maintained to the highest standards of NCAA and summer collegiate baseball.

Ice Crew

The Ice Crew member performs snow cleanup during TV timeouts for UMass Lowell and Boston Fleet Hockey games at the Tsongas Center. Ice Crew members must be avid skaters. Will assist with goal net handling and ice repairs as directed by Game Day Operations Manager.

Operations Crew

This Operations Crew position is physically demanding and requires individuals who are willing to engage in hands-on labor to ensure the successful setup, maintenance, and breakdown of events. Crew members are responsible for the heavy lifting, physical setup, and facility maintenance required to keep the arena and its events running smoothly. The primary tasks associated with this position are event conversions, changing the ice surface to a temporary floor for various events, setting up and striking stages, and event set up for all games or events.
